This is a good way to audition a contractor.

If you're not ready to hand a stranger your bathroom for three weeks — and you shouldn't be — start with a door that won't close. You'll see how we show up, how we leave the house at the end of the day, and how we talk about what things cost. Then decide about the rest.

Most of what people have written about us publicly is about exactly this kind of work: doors, drywall, mounting, decks, repairs. Read those first — it's the honest picture of how we behave in someone's house.

Proudly serving Palatine and the NW suburbs: Arlington Heights, Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg, Prospect Heights, Mount Prospect, Barrington, Des Plaines, Wheeling, Buffalo Grove, Rolling Meadows, Elgin and Vernon Hills.

FAQ

Do you do small jobs?

Yes. We have a minimum service visit. For best value, bundle multiple tasks in one visit.

Do you provide materials?

Small consumables are included when reasonable. For specific parts/hardware we can use your items or quote them.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. For simple jobs we can often estimate quickly from photos; for bigger punch lists we do an on-site walkthrough.

Is there a minimum?

Yes — a $180 service visit. Bundle two or three things into one visit and it's much better value than calling us three times.

What's the smallest thing you'll come out for?

We've come out for hanging heavy mirrors and for a door that wouldn't latch. If it's genuinely a ten-minute job on its own, we'll say so on the phone and suggest you wait until you have a short list.

Do you work for landlords and for move-out punch lists?

Yes, that's a regular part of the work — one Yelp customer called us in to get her daughter's house ready to sell.

Can you estimate from photos?

For simple jobs, usually yes. For a longer punch list we'd rather walk it, because the list always grows once we're standing in the room.

What our customers actually wrote

Costa does a great job. I had him come and hang some heavy pictures and mirrors. Then I had him come and patch some drywall and do some painting. He returns texts right away and is very respectful. I'm going to have him back to complete more projects.

Costa and Mike are amazing! They can do everything and they do it well… We're getting my daughter's home for sale and there seems to be all manner of repairs that were needed. Nothing seemed too complicated for them.

How It Works

  1. Send details — brief list + photos if possible
  2. Scope & estimate — we confirm tasks and pricing
  3. Scheduled visit — arrive ready with tools
  4. Work & clean-up — professional finish
  5. Walkthrough — confirm everything is done right

What to send us (optional)

  • Task list (bullet points)
  • Photos of each item
  • Your preferred date/time
  • Any parts you already have

Usually booked together

Doing two of these at once saves a mobilization and keeps the finish consistent across the rooms. Say so at the estimate and we'll price them as one job.
